By Tom Stanton Jul 23, 2021 | 12:31 PM

Lincoln Police were called to the Smoker’s Corner at 1440 S 17th Street around noon on Thursday on a customer using a counterfeit bill.

When officers arrived they contacted 38-year-old Jeremiah Brown and interviewed him about the money.  Brown said he had more money on him and was asked to empty his pockets.  Officer Erin Spilker says Brown pulled out a marijuana pipe, a knife with a 7-inch blade, a folding knife with a 4-inch blade and brass knuckles concealed on his person.

Officers confirmed that the bill he was using was bogus.  Brown was arrested for Carrying a Concealed Weapon–2nd offense, Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
