On Thursday, July 15th just after 6 p.m., Lincoln Police were called to 11th and Benton to investigate a suspicious vehicle that was parked in front of a home. Officers spoke with the driver, 38 year old Nicholi Grimm who said he was from Arizona. Grimm was wanted on a felony warrant out of Arizona and was taken into custody.

Police searched the vehicle and found two medieval maces and a hatchet between the front passenger seat and the center console. One mace had screws and nails attached to the bottom.

Officers also found .5 grams of methamphetamine. Grimm was found to be a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing a deadly weapon. He was booked for possession of a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance, and on the outstanding felony warrant.
