Spencer Schwellenbach is off the board.
The 2021 John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year was taken in the second round of the 2021 MLB Draft Monday at 59th overall by the Atlanta Braves. Schwellenbach is the fourth Husker to be taken in the first 10 rounds of the Draft since 2015.
With the 59th pick, the @Braves select @Husker_Baseball RHP/SS Spencer Schwellenbach, No. 54 on the Top 250 Draft Prospects list.

Five different publications tabbed Schwellenbach as an All-American, including first-team honors by D1Baseball and ABCA/Rawlings. He hit .284 with six home runs and 40 RBIs while taking the hill to the tune of a 3-1 record with 10 saves and a 0.57 ERA over 31.2 innings.
The MLB Draft continues through round 10 today with rounds 11-20 Tuesday.
