About an hour after seeing his teammate taken in the second round of the MLB Draft, Cade Povich came off the board in the third.
Povich was taken 98th overall by the Minnesota Twins Monday. Earlier in the Draft, Spencer Schwellenbach went 59th overall to the Atlanta Braves.

The pair are the first Husker teammates taken in the first three rounds of the MLB Draft since 2005, when Alex Gordon was the No. 2 overall pick by Kansas City and Brian Duensing was selected in the third round by Minnesota.
The MLB Draft wraps up Tuesday with rounds 11-20.
