Lincoln Police are investigating two overnight break-ins.
Police first were called to Cloud 9 Smoke Shop at 821 South 11th Street around 2:42 a.m. after a person reported that the window of the front door of the business had been shattered. Officers arrived and determined the suspects had gained entry. The owner was contacted and is conducting an inventory to determine the loss. Damage to the building is estimated at $500.
At 4:48 a.m., an alarm sent officers to CBD Remedies at 4848 Normal Blvd. The front door had been shattered and the suspects gained entry. Officers contacted that owner who is also taking an inventory to determine the loss. Damage to that business is also estimated at $500.
Both cases remain under investigation.
