Lincoln Police responded to an alarm at 4:15 Thursday morning to Elder Jewelry at 3111 O Street.
Officers arrived to find the front window of the business shattered. Officers then recovered an unopened safe had been pulled out of the building. They processed the scene for evidence. The owners are conducting an inventory of merchandise to determine if anything was taken.
Damage to the building is estimated at $600. The investigation is ongoing.
