Lincoln Police say a 31 year old man was shot and critically wounded just after 4:00 Saturday morning near 60th and Adams. Officers responded to a call of a fight involving dozens of people as well as possible gunshots. When officers arrived they found the e victim who had suffered facial injuries from a gunshot wound.
LPD officers rendered aid to the man until Lincoln Fire and Rescue arrived and transported him to a local area hospital. The victim suffered life-threatening injuries. LPD officers and investigators processed the scene for digital and forensic evidence, including the recovery of multiple shell casings.
