Now through Sunday June 13th, Nebraskans have an opportunity to tour a life sized Tabernacle right here in Lincoln. Through the 50 minute audio tour participants will touch, taste, smell, and hear what it was like to worship God through the Tabernacle.

The Tabernacle was used as the central place of worship for the Jews as they wandered the dessert for 40 years after fleeing from Egypt. The instructions for building the Tabernacle was delivered to Moses along with the Ten Commandments. The Tabernacle was the mobile house of worship where the Israelites (Jews) worshipped God. It was here at the Tabernacle that the Levitical priests served and where Israelites offered sacrifices. Generations later the Tabernacle was replaced with a permanent temple in Jerusalem.

The audio is available in four versions: English, Spanish, one for school-aged children, and a Jewish Tradition version.
The Tabernacle Experience is hosted at the Campus Life House at 6401 Pine Lake Road from 11am-7pm. Over 600 people have already participated in this awe-inspiring spiritual experience. You can learn more about the Tabernacle Experience by visiting https://yfclincoln.org/tabernacle_experience/
