Inmate Indicted For Murder In Cellmate’s Death

A Grand Jury determined that a Nebraska Department of Corrections inmate will be charged with 1st degree murder in the death of his cell mate last November. 31 year old Angelo Bol was indicted this week in the death of 20 year old Kevin Carter. Carter was found dead in his cell on November 6, 2020.

Bol is serving a life sentence for 1st degree murder in Buffalo County where he shot and killed a coworker at a meat packing house seven years ago.

Carter was serving 6 to 9 years for terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony out of Douglas County.

Details on Carter’s death have not been released.
