Six Football Times Announced, Nebraska to meet Oklahoma on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff

By Kaleb Henry May 27, 2021 | 1:56 PM

Several kickoff times were announced for Nebraska football’s 2021 schedule Thursday, including some intriguing matchups to hit national television.

The Huskers will open the season at Illinois August 28 at noon on FOX. Then on September 18 at 11 am, Nebraska and Oklahoma will be the featured game on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff.

The Big Ten Conference announced several weeks of game times as well. The only two conference games besides the opener to be revealed are Nebraska’s Homecoming game with Northwestern on October 2. That game will kickoff at 6:30 pm with the television network still to be determined.

The Huskers and Hawkeyes will meet on Black Friday (November 26) at 12:30 pm on the Big Ten Network. Nebraska’s November 20 game at Wisconsin does not have a start time yet but will be carried by one of the networks in the ESPN/ABC family.

The Huskers will play on BTN for the non-conference games of Fordham (September 4, 11 am) and Buffalo (September 11, 2:30 pm).

The Big Ten Championship game will be played on December 4 at 7 pm on FOX. Game times and TV destinations not announced today will be released six to 12 days ahead of those games.
