The National Weather Service is predicting another round of thunderstorms this afternoon that will likely focus in southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
Isolated areas of damaging wind or large hail are the primary hazards with any severe storms Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Wednesday through Monday; additional strong to severe thunderstorms will affect the area late Wednesday through mid day Thursday. These thunderstorms will likely be capable of producing heavy rain in addition to very strong winds.
With some areas likely to see several rounds of storms over the course of the week, pockets of heavy rainfall and some localized flooding are possible as the week progresses.
