The Nebraska Department of Labor released unemployment numbers for the week ending May 15th.
There were 1.392 new regular claims filed for the week compared to 1,481 for the week ending May 8th. New Pandemic Unemployment Assistance claims totaled 3, compared to 4 last week.
Continued unemployment claims totaled 7,343, up 462 compared to the week before. Regular PUA claims totaled 2,484, down 37 from the week before.
Nebraska paid $8 million in benefits for the week ending May 15th, down $1,119,766 from the week before.
