Lincoln Police were called to a home near 1st and B Street around 2:15 a.m. Friday morning to investigate a drive-by shooting. Police spoke with a 65 year old woman and a 25 year old man who were both inside the home at the time.
They told officers they heard the gunfire outside and discovered two holes in the wall and another hole in the couch. The investigation shows that one of the bullet holes was approximately 2 feet from where the man was sitting.
The victims are new to the home and believe the gunshots may have been intended for the prior residents. Officers processed the scene for evidence. The investigation continues.
