The three incumbent city council members advanced to the general election in Tuesday’s primary election. Out of the other 9 candidates, 2 Republicans and a Democrat advanced.
Bennie Shobe, Sandra Washington and Roy Christensen, all incumbents will face off against Tom Beckius, Mary Hilton and Eric Burling.
All four candidates for the Lincoln Airport Authority will appear on the general election ballot, John Olsson, Nicki Behmer, Jason Krueger and Tracy Refior.
And LPS Board member Kathy Danek advanced to the general election in District one. She will be challenged by Christina Campbell.
In District 7, incumbent Don Mayhew will face Michael Patestas.
