Lincoln Police are searching for three teenagers who stole a vessel of holy water from a Catholic church last weekend. Officer Erin Spilker says the mass was being held in the gymnasium of St. Michael Catholic Church on Saturday. “The juveniles entered the gym during a mass time and took a bucket of holy water,” Spilker says.
The tool used to sprinkle the holy water was also stolen. Police estimate the stolen items were worth $200 and they hope to use the video of the theft to identify the juveniles who were involved.
