Lancaster County Sheriff’s deputies were busy overnight Friday into Saturday morning investigating a series of stolen vehicles in the Roca and Denton areas. A total of four vehicles were stolen and there was one attempted vehicle theft.
It appears one vehicle would be stolen and taken to another area where another vehicle was then taken. In some of the cases the keys were left inside. In the attempted theft, wires had been pulled from under the dash in what appears an attempt to hot-wire it. There were also items taken from some of the vehicles.
Areas where vehicles were taken include the 14700 block of S 110th Street, 9200 and West Yankee Hill Road, 1100 block of West Saltillo, 5500 block of Olive Creek Road and 100th and Roca Road. So far no arrests and the search for suspects continue.
