A man from Los Angeles is behind bars in Lincoln after Police saw him sleeping in a vehicle around 3 a.m. March 2nd at 46th and Normal Blvd. Next to 45 year old Hany Hanna, police found drug paraphernalia next to him on the seat.
An officer woke Hanna up and searched the vehicle They located 41.1 grams of suspected methamphetamine, about $3,600 estmated street value, and several syringes inside a toiletry bag. Officers field tested the substance that came back positive for methamphetamines. Officers located 14.9 grams of marijuana, a credit card reader, three check books in different names, four different identification cards, and seven credit cards in different names.
Hanna was booked for possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a financial transaction device. Police say he was traveling from the west coast to the east coast and has no known ties to Lincoln.
