Local law enforcement continue to investigate weather related accidents.
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office reports they responded to six accidents between 4:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Several resulted in minor injuries of those inside vehicles. Three vehicles had gone into a ditch and several others with property damage.
Lincoln Police report they responded to 10 accidents by 9 a.m.
They ask drivers use extra care and avoid travel if possible. The blizzard warning is in effect until 6 tonight.
