Arrest Made In Stolen Pickup Case With Suspect Having Outstanding Warrants

On Tuesday, December 22nd at 11:14 p.m., Lincoln Police were patrolling South 20th and Garfield when they ran a license plate of a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado and the report came back stolen.   Officers stopped the vehicle near 18th and South when the driver got out and ran.

Officers chased him several blocks before he was found in the backyard of a home at 18th and South.  The suspect was then identified as 37 year old Shane Glasgow.

Further investigation found the vehicle had been reported stolen out of Harlan County on December 1st.  Glasgow had an outstanding warrant out of Lancaster County and Madison County as well as several local broadcasts.

Glasgow was booked for theft by receiving for this incident.  He was also cited for assault, theft by unlawful taking and assault for the numerous prior cases in which he is a suspect.
