An arrest is made after a man was threatened around 9 p.m. Tuesday, December 21st at 13th and F Street. A man reported he saw another man throwing garbage and yelling in the parking lot of a church. The victim asked the man to pick up the trash. The man then started yelling at the victim and threatened his family. The man then grabbed the vctim by the collar and held what he believed was a knife to his side. The man said he was going to stab the victim and he feared for his life.
A witness saw the incident and described it as the same as the victims account.
Officers located a man matching the suspect’s description standing in the doorway to the church. The victim was able to identify the man as the person responsible for threatening him. Police spoke with the suspect who said he had a knife and was taken into custody without further problems.
Officers did find a knife in 58 year old Thomas Pulec’s pocket . He was booked for terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
