The previous four meetings between Nebraska and Creighton had been all Bluejays.
Monday made it five.
Creighton jumped out to a 9-0 lead. Nebraska got on the board at the 5:29 mark with a layup but turnovers the rest of the half and a barrage of 3s by Creighton made it look like a runaway 42-21 at the half.
Through two quarters, Nebraska was 8-for-25 shooting, while Creighton was 10-24 on 3s alone.
The Huskers were able to close the gap in the second half to as little as 14, but the deficit was too much to overcome as Creighton cruised to the 78-62 victory.
Sam Haiby once again led the Huskers on offense, scoring 18 points, grabbing eight rebounds, and dishing out three assists.
Kate Cain (15) and Annika Stewart (10) also scored in double-digits.
