Lincoln Police were called to the 700 block of N 26th around 11:30 p.m. on November 30th for an unrelated call when they saw two to three people running from a residence.  Officers were then approached by a 31 year old man who stated he had been robbed.

The man was inside his home with another adult and two juvenile family members when someone knocked on the door.  The door was then forced open and three people pushed into his home with knives and demanded money.  The man then reported one of the men cut his hand with a knife during the altercation.

Another 26 year old man was in a bedroom when his door was kicked open and one of the intruders walked in swinging the knife.  The victim was cut on his hand.

A phone and cash were taken and the three suspects ran.  The injuries to the two men were minor and did not require medical attention.

During the investigation, officers found the stolen cell phone along the path the intruders were seen taking as they ran from the area.  Police are requesting video from neighbors.

This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
