A terrifying experience for a couple living near 11th and G Street around 9 p.m. Sunday. A 56 year old woman and a 55 year old man were expecting a visitor Sunday. Another 48 year old male friend opened the door when he was pushed forward by two women. They used pepper spray and demanded money from the victims. The victims reported that nothing was taken from the apartment and the two women left.
The 48 year old male stated that he did not know the women and thought that one of the women may have been holding a knife to his back prior to being pushed into the apartment. However, he did not report ever seeing a knife.
Officers canvassed the area and processed the scene for evidence. None of the victims in this case were able to identify the females. This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
