Bailey Boswell is found guilty of 1st Degree murder in the November 2017 murder of Sydney Loofe of Lincoln. Boswell was also found guilty of improper disposal of human remains and conspiracy to commit murder.
The jury started deliberations Wednesday morning and it took them three hours to reach a verdict.
Loofe’s body found in December of 2017 in Clay County. Her body had been dismembered and found in garbage bags in a remote area.
Boswell’s boyfriend, Aubrey Trail was earlier found guilty of Loofe’s murder in a dramatic trial where he tried to cut his throat during the proceedings. He will be sentenced in December.
