Shots Fired At Unoccupied Elementary School Playground

Lincoln Police are investigating a shots fired call that happened during the early morning hours of October 4th at Adams Elementary School at 7401 Jacob’s Creek Drive.

Police received the top Tuesday evening that a vehicle had pulled up around 4:30 a.m. and someone fired a number of shots at the unoccupied playground, possibly hitting equipment.  Officers searched the area and found several spent shell casings in the south parking lot next to the playground.  No damage was found.

There is no indication that the school or anyone associated with the school was a target of this incident. This investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encourage to call Lincoln Police at 402-441-6000 or Crime Stoppers at 402-475-3600.
