Myrtle Beach out. Orlando out. Lincoln in.
That according to Jon Rothstein, College Basketball Insider for CBS Sports. Rothstein says Nebraska men’s basketball is withdrawing from the Myrtle Beach Invitational to instead host an early season event with “several power conference teams”.
Sources: Nebraska will not be a part of the Myrtle Beach Invitational in Orlando and will instead host its own bubble in Lincoln during the first week of the season.
Several power conferences teams are expected to be included.

The Myrtle Beach Invitational had previously been reported as moved to Orlando in order to accommodate a “bubble” atmosphere.
The NCAA men’s basketball season is scheduled to begin November 25, the day before Thanksgiving.
