Lincoln Police made an arrest in the robbery of the U-Stop at 2925 N/W 12th Street on Monday, September 7th.
A female employee told police that a woman and a man walked into the store and demanded money. The man put the barrel of a gun against the clerk’s head and left with an undetermined amount of money. The clerk was not hurt.
On Tuesday, September 8th, the police forensic unit processed fingerprints at the store and were able identify one of the suspects as 26 year old Kimberly Williams. Officers located Williams on September 11th around 3:30 p.m. at a motel near 9th and Oak Street. Inside her vehicle, police a mask and gloves that may had been worn during the robbery along with a roll of quarters and 3 grams of meth.
Williams was booked for robbery, aid/abet the use of a firearm to commit a felony and possession of a controlled substance.
The search for the male suspect continues.
