Arrests Made In Vape Shop Burglaries

Lincoln Police made arrests in three vape shop break-ins dating back to February.

On February 6th, the D&K Smoke Shop at 2441 N 48th Street was broken into and about $1,600 in vaping products were taken.  On February 10th, police were called to The Joint Smoke Shop at 333 N Cotner Blvd when glass was broken to gain entry.  There was $4,300 in vaping products taken.

A short time later on February 10th, the Cloud 9 Vape Shop at 50th and Old Cheney burglarized.  There was a large amount of damage done to the store including display cases broken and items destroyed or taken totaling $60,000.

Investigators collected evidence and identified three suspects.  18 year old Bryan Castillo was arrested on August 18th for three counts of burglary.  He was already in jail at the time of the arrest.  19 year old Tang Lian was arrested for two counts of burglary and is a suspect in the D&K Smoke Shop and Cloud 9.  He was arrested June 10th near 26th and W.  A 16 year old was also referred on one count of burglary for the D&K Smoke Shop burglary.
