A demonstrator captured on video breaking windows with a hard hat during May demonstrations has turned himself in.
Lincoln Police Officer Erin Spilker says the suspect, a 15-year old juvenile, turned himself in for his role in riots early Sunday, May 31st.
“A family member assisted him,” said Spilker.
The juvenile was seen using a red hard hat to break out windows along Lincoln Mall.
Spilker says the juvenile will be referred to the county attorney for vandalism.
