Lincoln Police Suspending Non-Essential Fingerprint Services

By News Apr 8, 2020 | 10:01 AM

The Lincoln Police Department is suspending all non-essential fingerprint services beginning Wednesday.

The department reports that the new rules were put in place to prevent the spread of the novelty coronavirus.

The decision mirrors a similar change the Nebraska State Patrol put into place April 6th.

The suspension is in effect until May 26th.

At that time, the department will evaluate whether the suspension is still necessary.
